Bluesky and Threads Join the Social Media Cast

Content managers can now add Bluesky and Threads to the footer and the icon library.

Columbia Sites is excited to introduce its newest features for social media platforms.

Bluesky and Threads are now available in three ways:

  • Social share
  • Footer icons
  • Icon card library

You can see the social media share functionality in the icons to the right.

Adding the Icons to the Footer

To add the Bluesky or Threads icons to your footer, log in and click on Site Settings; then select the Social Media tab in the left-hand menu. Type in your account credentials and click Save Configuration.

The icon card library is only available on Landing Pages. To use the Bluesky or Threads icons, you must add a Page Section, then add the Icon Cards paragraph to your page section. Next, search for either “bluesky” or “threads” and select the appropriate icon.
