Linking pages externally
Linking externally (versus internally) means linking to pages in an outside site.
Enter complete URLs
The thing to remember for linking to external URLs is enter the complete URL into the link field. This includes the "http://" in the URL.
WRONG: www.columbia.edu
RIGHT: http://www.columbia.edu
In the WYSIWYG editor, highlight the text you want to link and click the link icon.
Paste the complete URL into the link field on the page.
Click Save and you are done!
