Inline Image

Inline images are embedded in body copy, with text wrapping around the image.

An inline image is a visual element embedded directly within the body of your content, positioned between surrounding content blocks. It can influence text flow depending on its dimensions.

Specifications and Usage

When to Use:

  • To insert a visual element that complements specific sections of your text.

  • When you want the image to appear between two content blocks, such as paragraphs or other media.

Specifications:

  • Image Width: Less than 300 pixels to ensure text wraps comfortably around the image.

  • Image Height: No specific requirement; adjust based on content needs.

  • Text Wrapping: Text may wrap around the image depending on its size and placement.

  • Placement: Insert the image before the text block you want it to appear beside.

How to create an Inline Image

Select Inline Image from the Content dropdown:

  • Click on the "Add Inline Image" option in the editor toolbar.

Upload the Image:

  • In the file browser, click "Upload" to select an image from your computer.
     
  • Once uploaded, select the image to insert it into the page.

Crop the Image (If Necessary):

  • After inserting, click on the image to activate cropping options.
     
  • Drag the blue handles to adjust the visible area of the image.
     
  • Note: Cropping is non-destructive and can be modified later.

Add Alternative Text:

  • Click on the image and select "Edit" to open image properties.
     
  • Enter descriptive alternative text to improve accessibility.

Adjust Text Wrapping:

  • Use alignment options (left, right, center) to control how text flows around the image.
    • Text will not wrap around the image if center is selected.
Upload the Image and create settings
