Content Library

The Content Library is your central hub for accessing all content created on your site.

Definition

The Content Library is a centralized repository within the Drupal CMS that stores all the content created on your site.

Usage and Specifications

When to use:

  • To find content previously created, and 
     
  • To Edit, Clone or Delete existing items

Specifications

  • All content types are include

  • Search & Filter Options:

    • By title, type, author, or published status

Accessing the Content Library

From the Admin Toolbar, go to: Shortcuts > Content Library

  • You’ll see a list of all content created on your site, which can include (e,g. Sidebars, Basic pages, Landing pages, etc...)

Searching for Content

Use the filter options at the top of the list to search by:

  • Published status

  • Content type

  • Title

This makes it easier to find a specific block or component, especially if your site has many content items.

Revise an Existing Item

Locate the item you want to update using the search or scroll.

Click Edit, Clone or Delete next to the item.

Click Edit, Clone or Delete

Make your changes, then click Save if needed.

Creating New Content

Click the + Add Content button

+ Add Content button

Select the appropriate content type (e.g., Basic page, Landing page).

Fill out the required fields and save.
